Pharmacological properties

Tetramisole possesses wide spectrum of antihelminthic activity against gastrointestinal and lung nematodes: Haemonchus sp., Ostertagia sp., Trichostrongylus spp., Nematodirus sp., Bunostomum sp., Oesophagostomum sp., Cooperia sp., Dictyocaulus sp., Ascarissuum, Strongyloides ransomi, Metastrongylus sp., Oesophagostomum sp., Ascaridia, Capillaria spp., etc. Mechanism of action: inhibition of neuromuscular transmission of stimuli, which leads to paralysis and death of parasite.

Indications

• Treatment and prevention of dictyocaulosis, haemonchosis, bunostomosis, nematodirosis, ostertagiosis, chabertiosis, cooperiosis, strongyloidosis in cattle, sheep and goats.

• Treatment and prevention of ascariasis, esophagostomosis, strongyloidosis, trichocephalosis, metastrongylosis in pigs.

• Treatment and prevention of ascaridosis, capillariasis, heterakidosis, amidostomosis, gape in poultry.
