VIC Group co-organized the First Meat Symposium

On February 1, Moscow hosted the First Meat Symposium, an event for leading producers and suppliers of meat and meat products, where the outlook for the meat and related markets in 2023 were discussed. The VIC Group became one of the organizers of the symposium.

The speakers at the conference were Sergey Kaspariants, Executive Director of VIC Group, Dmitry Aveltsov, Head of the Agricultural Analytical Center of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Edward Zernin, Chairman of the Grain Exporters Union Board, Yuri Kovalev, General Director of the National Pork Union, Sergey Lakhtyuhov, General Director of the National Poultry Union, Sergey Yushin, Executive Committee Head of the National Meat Association, Andrey Dalnov, Head of Rosselkhozbank Industry Expertise Center and other speakers.

The drivers of the meat market development in 2023, Sergey Kaspariants noted, would be the unique advantages of products, development of own brand and entry into new markets, while producers would cut costs and implement cost-effective solutions.
