VIC GROUP Presents a Programme for Attracting Young Specialists into the Agricultural Sector at “Technoprom”

The 12th International Technological Development Forum “Technoprom 2025” was held on 27–29 August in Novosibirsk. This is a key platform for dialogue between science, business and government. VIC GROUP's R&D Director Alexei Bychkov spoke at the Forum's plenary session, sharing the company's experience in academic partnership and building a talent pool for the agricultural sector.

The event, which was initiated by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, aims to work toward providing for technological leadership of Russia's agricultural complex by establishing a modern training system.

The expert gave a detailed account of VIC GROUP's project, which was developed jointly with the country's agricultural universities to establish specialised competence centres in the agricultural sector, including for competence in:

  • Diagnostics;
  • Biosecurity;
  • Soft skills development.

An important element consists in promoting work in the agricultural sector through cultural, sport, educational and social events, and generation of interest in agricultural professions from school age.

“Technological leadership in the agricultural sector starts with education”, noted Alexei Bychkov. “We at VIC GROUP are creating a system that allows students to work with real industry-relevant problems during their studies.”
