1 g contains 50 mg of doxycycline hydrochloride and 50 mg of tiamulin hydrogen fumarate


Pharmacological properties

Tiamulin and doxycycline are active against Mycoplasma spp. (M. hyopneumoniae, M. hyorhinis, M. hyosynoviae, M. synoviae, M. meleagridis), Spirochaetas spp. (Brachyspira hyodysenteriae, B. innocents, B. suis), many gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria, including Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Bacillus anthracis, Erysipelothrix spp., Listeria spp., Arcanobacterium (Corynebacterium) spp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Clostridium perfringens, Lawsonia intracellularis, Mannheimia haemolitica, Pasteurella spp., Leptospira spp., Haemophillus spp., Bordetella sp., Brucella sp., Bartonella sp., Сampylobacter spp. and Bacteroides spp. The combination of tiamulin and doxycycline possesses synergetic action against microorganisms by inhibition of protein synthesis in microbial cells at various stages.


• Treatment and prevention of dysentery, atrophic rhinitis, enzootic pheumonia, actinobacillis pleuropneumonia, Glasser’s disease, intestinal spirochetosis, salmonellosis, colibacillosis, necrotic enteritis in pigs caused by tiamulin and doxycycline-sensitive microorganisms.


TIACYCLIN® is administered orally in combination with feed either individually or by group method:

• for treatment at the dose of 2.5- 3.0 kg per 1 ton of feed per day for 5 days;

• for prevention at the dosage of 2.0- 2.5 kg per 1 ton of feed per day for 5-10 days.
