(glucosamine sulfate, methylsulfonylmethane, calcium ascorbate, manganese citrate, willow extract) oral tablets
Indications
-
to treat dogs for acute and chronic musculoskeletal system diseases, including arthritis, arthrosis, osteoarthritis, osteoarthrosis, osteochondrosis, osteochondropathy, osteoporosis, joint dysplasia;
-
to reduce pain of any etiology, in case of a long course of treatment;
-
to prevent musculoskeletal system diseases in dogs over the age of 6 years;
-
under increased stress;
-
before and after surgery on the musculoskeletal system;
-
after the treatment with fluoroquinolones;
-
to prevent blood vessel diseases.
Composition
One tablet weighing 1 g contains:
500 mg of glucosamine sulfate, 250 mg of methylsulfonylmethane,
100 mg of calcium ascorbate, 10 mg of manganese citrate and 50 mg
of willow extract as active substances; 9 mg of calcium stearate, 2 mg of ”liver” flavor, 5 mg of polyplasdone and 10 mg of polyvinylpyrrolidone as excipients.
Dosage
FLEXIACTIVE® is administered forcibly on the root of the tongue or in the feed once a day at the following doses:

The course of treatment is 30-90 days depending on the seriousness of the disease. After 30 days of administration, in case of a positive effect, it is possible to use half dose. To prevent musculoskeletal system diseases in dogs older than 6 years, the drug is administered for 30 days in spring and autumn. FLEXIACTIVE® is administered in preventive doses, in case of increased physical activity. The drug administration starts 20-30 days before the beginning of the physical activity, continues during the whole period of physical activity and within 15 days after it ends.
After the surgery on the musculoskeletal system, FLEXIACTIVE® is administered in preventive doses for 30-60 days.
After treatment with fluoroquinolones, FLEXIACTIVE® is administered in preventive doses for 30 days.
In case of acute conditions, FLEXIACTIVE® is administered simultaneously with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (FLEXOPROFENE, carprofen) within the first 3-5 days.
