SEMINAR ON "TOPICAL VETERINARY ISSUES OF LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY - TREATMENT AND PREVENTION" IN ORYOL

The branch of VIC Group in Oryol with the support of Lallemand and Zoetis organized a seminar on "Topical veterinary issues of livestock industry. Treatment and prevention".

The event was held for the second time. The previous seminar for veterinarians and zootechnicians of Bryansk and Oryol regions was held in 2017. The specialists of the Veterinary Division of the Oryol region and Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Veterinary Medicine of Oryol State Agrarian University attended the event.

This year the participants discussed production issues and shared experiences. D. Kohanovsky, Head of the branch in Oryol, delivered a welcome speech. The business program was opened by P. Podgornov, Director of NPF VIC, he spoke about high-technology manufacturing of veterinary drugs. Following the program, the visitors watched a video about the modern pharmaceutical production of VIC Group. The specialists of VIC Group made reports on topical issues of livestock industry.

V. Kumarin, Technologist of the Feed Division, made a report on methods for preventing heat stress. E. Belkin, Head of the Livestock Division, made reports on the effective control of parasitic diseases and integrated program for the treatment and prevention of mastitis in cattle. The report of S. Kuznetsov, Leading Specialist of the Hygiene and Sanitation Division, was devoted to the prevention of mastitis in cows. A. Smirnov, Leading Specialists of Vetpribor, made a report on tools and equipment for livestock industry. I. Kozikov, Leading Specialist of the Livestock Division, spoke about cattle health monitoring in the fresh period.

At the seminar, S. Kornev, veterinarian of Zoetis, presented a report on "Preventive vaccination of infectious diseases from birth to calving", I. Kuchin, Consultant of Lallemand, made a report on "Technological aspects pf feed conservation".

Within the seminar, Vetpribor presented the equipment. During the presentation, visitors could personally experience the quality of the equipment.

At the end of the event, all the participants were awarded certificates.
