SPECIALIST OF VIC GROUP ATTENDED A SEMINAR IN GROZNY

With the support of FSBI "Veterinary Center" a seminar on advanced training of veterinary specialists in the Chechen Republic was held in Grozny from 28 to 30 October, 2016. The topic of the seminar was "Ensuring epizootic well-being and biosafety of agro-industrial complex under present economic conditions".

Leading Moscow specialists in the field of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine met for the first time in the capital of the Republic to share their experience with Chechen colleagues.

VIC Group took an active part in the organization of this event.

E.A. Belkin (specialist in animal husbandry, VIC Group) made a report on veterinary health control of cattle hooves. The report described a complex approach to treatment and prevention of hoof diseases in cattle using veterinary drugs manufactured by "VIC Animal Health":

• Oxylong® 20% Retard is a prolonged antibacterial drug, belongs to tetracycline group;
• Flexoprofen® is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug;
• Tiocefur® is a cephalosporin antibiotic.
• Aerofar Spray is a drug of tetracycline group, used for external use in a complex treatment for diseases of the extremities.
  

In addition, E.A. Lusin (specialist in animal husbandry, VIC Group) presented a program of complex application of drugs manufactured by "VIC Animal Health" for treatment for respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases of cattle:

• Zitrex® is a prolonged drug based on azithromycin;
• Colimixol® is water-soluble powder based on colistin sulfate;
• Solutystin® is complex powder based on colistin sulfate and tylosin tartrate;
• Pulmokit® is complex powder based on kitasamycin, trimethoprim, sulfadiazine and paracetamol;
• Toltrax® 5% is an anticoccidial drug based on tolturazuril.

At the seminar, the participants showed particular interest in anti-parasitic drugs manufactured by "VIC Animal Health":

• Santomectin®;
• Forticarb®;
• Fenbengran®;
• Mizofenum-F®.

A lot of attention was drawn to Deltanil (prolonged insectoacaricidal drug), the active substance of which is deltamethrin.

During the seminar all participants had the opportunity to ask questions and get answers to them.

The Management of the Veterinary Administration of the Government of the Chechen Republic expressed gratitude to VIC Group and invited the company to participate in events concerning animal husbandry.
