A special system to monitor the use of antibacterial drugs has been developed in Russia, and few enterprises use it. "The system to monitor the use of antibacterial drugs is aimed at safe agricultural products, products free from antibacterial residues. It assumes product certification followed by "antibiotic-free" labeling which the company receives after the analysis of production and veterinary inspection", - said S. Shchepetkina, Head of the Program, senior research at All-Russian Research Institute of Genetics and Breeding of Farm Animals, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences.
