TECHNICAL SEMINARS FOR POULTRY SPECIALISTS OF PENZA REGION AND MORDOVIA IN SARANSK

On 5 April, technical seminars for poultry specialists of the region were held in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Saransk.

Specialists of VIC Group, Zoetis, Lallemand, BioChek, Novus, MEGAMIX made presentations at the seminars.

More than 50 veterinarians and zootechnicians of Mordovian poultry farms participated in the event. Specialists of Penzamolinvest came from Penza region to visit the seminar.

\The business program included two sections, veterinary medicine and zootechnics. The veterinary medicine sector discussed treatment and prevention of poultry diseases. The specialist of the Hygiene and Sanitation Division of VIC Group, D. Sinitsyn, made a report on "Biosecurity of enterprises and modern preparation of poultry facilities". He presented cleaning techniques with the use of OxiClin and disinfection treatment with HyperDez. The poultry veterinary consultant, E. Babkova, made a report on "Colibacteriosis in rearing broiler chickens", she spoke about the import substitution program based on quinolone antibiotics manufactured by VIC Animal Health, Quinoline, Flox-O-Quin, Quinocycline and Enroflon-K. Head of Organic Acids Project, V. Negrov, spoke of the importance of water hygiene in the modern industry and high efficiency of VerSal Liquid manufactured by VIC Group.

At the seminar for zootechnicians, feed cost management and poultry productivity were discussed. Technologist of VIC Group, S. Rybnikov, made a report on the factors of soybean oil meal and forms to stimulate feed intake. The Project Manager of Commercial Service of TD-VIC, I. Skripka, made a report on "Coccidiosis and clostridiosis - program planning for effective results". The participants of the seminar noted that the reports were relevant and important, they participated in the discussions and asked many questions.

After the seminar, the specialists of VIC Group negotiated with the representatives of poultry farms with the purpose of cooperation.

At the end of the event, the veterinarians and zootechnicians were granted training certificates.
