THE PRODUCTION OF THE VIC GROUP OF COMPANIES HAS BECOME A SHOWCASE OF IMPORT SUBSTITUTION IN VETERINARY MEDICINE

As part of a working visit to Belgorod, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Maxim Uvaidov visited the production site of the VIC Group of Companies – OOO 'NPF VIC'. The Deputy Minister held a meeting in the regional center on the development of state veterinary services and territorial directorates of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.

The event was attended by Maria Novikova, Director of the Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Tatyana Ausheva, Head of the Belgorod Regional Directorate of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, representatives of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance territorry departments and the Veterinary Department of the Central Federal District. The thread of conversation was the implementation of a program to prevent the carrying and spread of ASF agents.

- The animal husbandry development is impossible without strengthening the veterinary services in the regions. I hope that the experience shared will be useful, it will be applied, and it will provide good results, - Maxim Uvaidov said.

He believes that a smooth interaction between the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and regional veterinary state services is needed, so that in the event of ASF outbreak, a dangerous disease can be quickly detected and localized.

The visit to the production site of the VIC Group of Companies by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia together with the participants of the meeting on ASF emphasizes the importance of the VIC Group's efforts in ensuring the country's veterinary safety and improving the Russian livestock production efficiency. Maxim Uvaidov argued, that further development of domestic production of veterinary products in Russia is essential.

The VIC Group of Companies is one of the leaders in this area of economy. Pinning faith on import substitution, it offers farmers more than 250 types of veterinary products. These are antibacterial, antiparasitic drugs, feed additives. For the first time in Russia, the production of ear tags with the possibility of laser marking was established.

The guests visited the water treatment site, the production warehouse, got acquainted with the work of the QC laboratory and with the high-tech production of drugs in the form of solutions, powders and granules. The NPF VIC's experts told the guests that all veterinary medicines comply with the same standards as medicines for humans. In addition, the high tech application ensures the company's products excellence.
