TRAINING-ROUND TABLE FOR SPECIALISTS OF KURINOE TSARSTVO IN BRYANSK

On 18 April, Oryol branch of VIC Group held a training-round table on "Methods of infective background control at broiler fattening farms". The event was held at the manufacturing site of Cherkisovo in Bryansk region. Veterinarians, technologists and experts in epizootiology of Kurinoe Tsarstvo visited the event.

S. Orlov, Technical Specialists of Zoetis, performed practical training on detection of coccidiosis in poultry.

I. Skripka, Project Manager of VIC Group, focused on necrotic enteritidis and its impact on poultry productivity. He provided up-to-date information on this disease in the world poultry industry and gave specific examples that showed the impact of necrotic enteritidis and related diseases on the main productivity indicators. He also described control options for the disease and modern diagnostic methods. Such highly effective products as HEMODIN and FORTRAZIN manufactured by German company EUROBIOPHARM were considered, the products serve for the control of Clostridium perfringens and weight gain. Poultry Consultant of VIC Group made a report on colibacillosis, he spoke of several production experiments at poultry farms, where colibacillosis in broiler chickens was treated with Quinoline, Flox-O-Quin, Quinocycline and Enroflon-K, after the treatment high performance indicators were achieved.

At the end of the taring-round table, all participants exchanged views on pressing issues addressing veterinary medicine and feeding.
