VIC Group participated in the event for the tenth time. The company's experts took part in three sections devoted to animal breeding, pig breeding and poultry farming and discussed pressing issues of agribusiness and options for their solution.

The expert explained that this disease is a major problem in production. Andrey Patenko introduced a solution from VIC Group - a new line of one-stage antimastitis syringes for drying off cows. The syringes have different prolongation periods, a wide spectrum of antimicrobial action and minimize the time of antibiotics elimination with milk after calving in case of short drying off.

Alexander Goncharov, a leading veterinary consultant of the VIC Group poultry division, highlighted the topic of coccidiosis prevention in commercial settings. The expert said that for full control of the disease, the farm should apply a number of measures:

  • perform chemical cleaning of the buildings annually and observe all biosafety rules;
  • rotate preparations of different classes to prevent the development of coccidia resistance.

Other way to control coccidiosis without antibiotics are feed additives based on plant extracts, designed to normalize digestive processes and increase productivity, said Alexander Goncharov.
