VIC Group launches new antimastitis syringes for cattle

VIC Group presented new products at the Baltic Forum of Veterinary Medicine and Food Security held in St. Petersburg on September 21-22: LACTICO PROFI, LACTICO PROFI LONG and MAMMILACTI PROFI. The preparations are intended to treat mastitis in cows during dry period.

These drugs are developed in Russia and produced by the VIC Group companies under the GMP standards. All three syringes are administered to animals once, into each teat, but they have different therapeutic effect. Therefore, the new antimastitis drugs are suitable for enterprises with any protocols.

LACTICO PROFI LONG has the longest lasting effect, protecting the udder for the entire dry period - more than 7 weeks.

LACTICO PROFI and MAMMILACTI PROFI have a therapeutic effect for up to 4 weeks. This is optimal for animals with a short dry period. With LACTICO PROFI there is no risk of antibiotic to be found in milk after calving.

MAMMILACTI PROFI is a product with a complex composition providing a wide spectrum of antibacterial action. The two active ingredients - cloxacillin and ampicillin  - work well also against colibacillosis mastitis.

LACTICO PROFI and LACTICO PROFI LONG are highly effective against mastitis caused by streptococci and staphylococci.

Small volume of syringes and texture of suspensions allow to quickly administer the drug to animals showing restlessness. Auxiliary substances contribute to uniform distribution in udder tissues without causing irritation.
