VIC GROUP ON THE GAIDAR FORUM

On 18 January 2018, at the Gaidar Forum “Russia and the World: Values and Virtues”, VIC Group was awarded a letter from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. The company was among the laureates of the National Champions Project.

32 companies of various industries were selected on the basis of TechUspekh-2017 national rating of fast-growing high-tech companies. More than 600 most promising companies participated in the rating. Only 32 of them became the laureates of the National Champions Project, among which VIC Group was the only representative of the veterinary and pharmaceutical industry. According to the results of the previous year the company had shown significant profit growth.

The research of independent specialists of the Project revealed that VIC Group had the best results for export potential and development of foreign markets.

This result is a well-deserved recognition of the high professionalism, it indicates significant contribution of the company to the development of Russia's high-tech spheres.

The purpose of the National Champions Project is to ensure advanced growth of domestic private high-tech export-oriented companies and the formation of transnational companies. The implementation of this Project is aimed at the formation of not less than 10 Russian companies with sales of at least $500 million each and two companies with sales of $1 billion each by 2020.

During the discussion on market issues, Oleg Fomichev, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia, assessed the modern market, which characterized the sharp growth of high-tech private business. The speaker noted the increase in the number of fast-growing companies, but at the same time he stressed the high status of the laureates of the National Champions Project. These companies can compete with foreign companies.

Artem Shadrin, Director of the Department of Social Development and Innovations of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, pointed out the importance of supporting companies with large production capacities. Equally important objectives are the entry of the companies to the capital market, IPO and placement of bonds.

VIC Group is currently participating in various programs of the Ministry of Economic Development aimed at developing foreign markets. Such cooperation is fixed by an official agreement and will last through 2018.
