VIC GROUP PARTICIPATED IN THE 20TH INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRODUCTION CONFERENCE "PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS FOR INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRO-TECHNOLOGIES"

From 23 to 25 May, VIC Group participated in the 20th international Scientific and Production Conference "Problems and prospects for innovative development of agro-technologies" held at Belgorod State Agricultural University named after V. Gorin.

Originally, specialists from 14 Russian regions took part in the formation of the agenda for the conference: Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kursk, Moscow, Novgorod, Orel, Rostov, Ryazan regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol Krai, Chuvash Republic, as well as representatives from 4 countries of the near and far abroad: Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Scientists from the University of Hohenheim (Germany), the University of Natural Sciences in Poznan (Poland), Orel and Voronezh State Agrarian University, Kursk State Agricultural Academy, the Lugansk National Agrarian University also took part in the conference.

Welcoming remarks at the opening of the conference were made by:

• Irina Korneichuk, First Deputy Head of the Department of Economic Development in Belgorod region.
• Alexander Turyanskiy, Rector of Belgorod State Agricultural University, Prof., Doctor of Economics.

At the plenary meeting, the participants discussed topical issues on the theme of the conference. Among them was the report made by Petr Podgorny, Director of "NPF VIC" Ltd., who presented the project of VIC Group: "Plant for the production of veterinary drugs of NPF VIC".

In addition to the plenary meeting there were held sectional hearings of the reports, in which 153 speakers took part (14 of whom were guests of the conference).

Traditionally, at the conference, there was an exhibition of innovative developments of commodity producers in the sphere of agroindustrial complex and scientists of Belgorod State Agricultural University.

A wide range of veterinary drugs of the import substitution spectrum manufactured by "VIC Animal Health" were presented at the stand. Besides that, there were some novelties: feed additives, tools, products of the partners.

The specialists of the company held a number of constructive negotiations with the largest Russian and foreign manufacturers. Visitors of the exhibition showed a high interest in the stand of VIC Group, noting the professionalism of the company's employees. In just two days of the exhibition, there were held more than 50 meetings, which resulted in a number of cooperation agreements.

At the conference, the participants could visit the University Museum, the library, the dormitory, the main educational and scientific building No. 1 and the educational and scientific exhibition center "Agrotechnopark".

The cultural program consisted of tour around Belgorod and the Museum of Military Glory of Russia's Third Battlefield (Prokhorovka).
