VIC GROUP PARTICIPATED IN THE 6TH INTERNATIONAL VETERINARY CONGRESS IN SOCHI

VIC Group participated in the 6th International Veterinary Congress "One World-One Health" held in Sochi from 12 to 15 April, 2016.

The annual Congress was a major event at national and international levels, it clearly demonstrated the strategic significance of veterinary medicine for the social and economic development of Russia. High status of the Congress was highlighted by the active state support and participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Rosselkhoznadzor, the main state veterinary inspectors of foreign countries and the CIS, and the high professional level of invited foreign and domestic speakers.

More than 1,000 veterinary specialists from 30 countries participated in the work. The international composition of the speakers, which included specialists from Russian scientific institutions, as well as veterinary doctors of livestock and poultry enterprises from various regions of the Russian Federation, representatives from China, Denmark, Austria, the United States of America, the Netherlands, Germany, Bulgaria, Spain, Poland, Belgium and the United Kingdom contributed to the formation of the most relevant and significant topics for discussion.

The specialist of VIC Group made presentations on the following topics:

• Igor Kozikov (veterinary consultant) made a presentation on "Veterinary health control of hooves of high-yielding dairy cattle". Listeners paid special attention to the complex approach to the treatment for hoof diseases with Oxylong® 20% retard, Tiocefur® and Flexoprofen®.
• Tatiana Polunochkina (lead poultry veterinary consultant) described "New trends in diagnosis and therapy of Glasser's disease and ornithobacteriosis in poultry". She gave examples of the treatment for Glasser's disease and ornithobacteriosis in poultry with Floricol® and Sulteprim® oral solution.
• Maxim Biryukov (candidate of veterinary sciences, leading veterinary consultant) made a presentation on "Systemic approach to the treatment and prevention of swine diseases", where Colimixol® and Clavuxicin® were offered as drugs for the treatment for streptococcosis and diarrhea in growing piglets.
• Alexander Khudyakov (head of Hygiene and Sanitation Department) made a presentation on "Food safety in theory and practice" and described new products of the Food clean line for the processing industry.
