VIC GROUP TOGETHER WITH NOVUS HELD INTERNATIONAL FORUMS IN GERMANY FOR PIG BREEDING AND POULTRY FARMING

VIC Group of Companies together with Novus held on February 10-11 the International Forum on Meat and carcass quality in Broiler , and on February 11–12, the International Forum on Feeding High-producing breeding pigs in Dusseldorf.

The leading broiler meat producers from Southern, Western and Eastern Europe, Russia and Ukraine participated in the work of the International Forum on Meat and carcass quality in Broiler. As part of its business program, Russian and foreign experts discussed the most pressing issues related to the carcass external quality, as well as the broiler meat quality. Speakers talked about modern approaches to solving quality problems at all stages of the broiler meat production technological chain (cultivation, delivery, processing). In particular, participants reports covered the impact of general livestock management on poultry before slaughter at a processing plant, muscle disorders in broiler meat in the EU, feeding solutions to improve the quality of carcasses and meat. During the International Forum on Feeding highly producing breeding pigs, the scientists and practitioners from Europe and the United States presented advanced technologies for feeding and keeping highly producing she-pigs and their offspring. In addition, the forum hosted the official presentation of the book Feeding Highly Producing breeding pigs, published by Novus International in collaboration with leading world universities under academic advising of Antonio Palomo Jague. The working program contained reports on key industry goals and objectives. Overcoming oxidative stress, developing strategies for feeding breeding pigs over the past 10 years, the genetics influence on the piggery fetal development delay and low birth weight piggery were among them.
