VIC Group took an active part in the AGROS-2023 expo and organized three international conferences
The International Exhibition of Animal Husbandry, Breeding and Feed Production "AGROS-2023" was held on January 25-27 at the Crocus Expo IEC. The thematic sections of the exhibition covered all types of professional animal husbandry – dairy and beef cattle breeding, pig breeding, poultry breeding, goat breeding, sheep breeding, etc. – at all stages of supply chain.
The VIC Group actively partnered the exhibition, arranging its cutting-edge booth and presenting there innovative veterinary drugs, feed additives, prebiotics and probiotics, hygiene and disinfection products, sorbents and ear tags developed and manufactured at the company's sites. As part of the business program, VIC Group together with MEGAMIX Group and industry unions organized three international conferences: on animal husbandry, poultry and pig farming.
The key discussion topic was development in an era of global change - challenges, support points, and practical solutions. Each session was introduced by the heads of national unions: Yuri Kovalev, General Director of the National Union of Pork Producers, Sergey Lakhtyukhov, General Director of the National Union of Poultry Producers, and Artyom Belov, General Director of Soyuzmoloko. At the conference, VIC experts, leading Russian practitioners in the field of animal protein production and business community representatives discussed the relevant topics:
• key market trends;
• new solutions under sanctions and logistical barriers;
• healthy food – biosafety, quality, availability of finished products in new realities;
• optimizing production with regard to rising costs of finished products and external constraints;
• ensuring biological safety and prevention of infectious threats in the context of new challenges. Outlook for continuing international cooperation and development of domestic potential in biotechnology, immunology, molecular biology;
• High-end technologies available for agribusiness.
