(imidocarb) solution for injection
Indications
FORTICARB® 5% solution for injection is used for treatment and prevention of acute, chronic and subclinical babesiosis in dogs.
Composition
1 ml of FORTICARB® 5% solution for injection contains 50 mg of imidocarb and polyvinylpyrrolidone.
Dosage
Treatment of babesiosis: a single intramuscular or subcutaneous administration of the drug at a dose of 0.08 ml/kg or 0.8 ml per 10 kg bw (4 mg of imidocarb per 1 kg bw).
Prevention: a single intramuscular or subcutaneous administration of the drug at a dose of 0.08 ml/kg
